Hi, my name is Karolina Kaim and
I’m a literary agent representing writers and creators with a strong affinity for digital strategies and crossing over between platforms and formats.

Prior to becoming an agent, I was a senior commissioning editor at Penguin, where I collaborated with authors of different expertises and backgrounds on shaping commercially viable concepts and launch plans, effectively positioning nonfiction titles spanning big think, lifestyle, self-development, and pop science categories.

That role was preceded by getting to know publishing from the ground up. Coming from Poland, that’s where I began my career and gained almost a decade’s worth of experience in acquiring rights to books from a range of foreign territories, scouting emerging voices, and developing a keen eye for international market trends.

I believe that at the heart of every successful idea lies the creative process and the ability to make your work become an extension of your brand, connecting the dots between its various avenues.

Which is precisely where I like to come in.
